The Giving Tree is an annual charity drive to provide Christmas gifts to the less fortunate.  This outreach is sponsored by the parish Christian Service Commission and the St. Vincent de Paul Society.  The Giving Tree is displayed in the narthex for several weeks beginning the weekend before Thanksgiving.  Paper ornaments, with detailed information concerning the gift to be purchased, are hung from the tree.  Parishioners select one or more ornaments from the tree and return the gifts to the church with the tags attached.  The committee collects, separates, wraps as appropriate, and distributes the gifts to the selected charities.
