“New year, new you!” We heard a lot of this at the turn of the year. Headlines like “10 ways to lose weight,” “Great habits for success,” “Easy fixes for all that stands in the way of the perfect life/love/body of your dreams…” And yet…all too often those quick fixes fail and we end up feeling just as empty as before.
This Lent, we invite you to put away the quick fixes and dive into a season of deeper prayer, meaningful fasting, and sacrificial almsgiving to make room for Jesus to transform your heart and life in ways that last.
“So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away;
see, everything has become new!” 2 Corinthians 5:17 NRSV

THE SIX WEEK PLAN:
Get everything you need ready so you can jump into your Lenten plans, and remember to take it one step at a time. For greatest success, you won’t want to tackle all the things at once! Read more…
What do you need to let go of in your life? This week we take a look at the things that distract us from loving God, loving our neighbor, and even loving ourselves as God does. Read more…
Where do you feel unseen, abandoned, dry, empty, despair? This week we face our pain head on with Jesus at our side. Read more…
Week Three: Quenching Our Thirst
What is it you desire in life? This week we surrender our longing to God more deeply.
Week Four: Healing Our Wounds
What is it you need to be healed from in your life? This week we identify the areas in our lives – in our minds, hearts, bodies, and souls – that are broken and hand them to Jesus.
Week Five: Envisioning a “New You”
What does a “new you” look like in the light of Christ? This week, we create a vision for our new life in the light of Christ’s vision for us.
Week Six: Recap – From Death to New Life
Where do you find yourself today? This week we examine the journey as a whole – the pain, the transformation, the remaining struggle, all of it – as we walk with Jesus in His passion, death, and resurrection. (And the resurrection IS coming!)
