Guardian Angels Catholic Church values our young adults and young families! Get to know others who you run into during Mass, and grow together as a family in Christ by attending young adult & family events, joining one of several small group communities, and sharing your gifts with the parish and community!

If there is something specific that we can provide you to enrich your walk with Jesus, to make our parish feel more like home to you, please reach out to me at rakhim@guardiana.com.

In the meantime, you can stay up to date on all that is going on here on this webpage, by following our Facebook Page, or joining the Detroit Catholic Young Adult Facebook Group.

UPCOMING EVENTS & RESOURCES:

Looking for a way to get more out of your faith? Want to learn more about why we do what we do while creating friendships with other young people of faith? Join other young adults this Lent and beyond as we walk through the Liturgy of the Mass with Bishop Barron (DVD). Be transformed by his insights on this most privileged and intimate encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ this side of heaven. This study of the Mass will help you understand how to fully, consciously, and actively participate in the source and summit of the Christian life.

Light refreshments will be provided. (This study is intended for those in their 20s & 30s-ish.)

YOUNG FAMILY LENTEN PRAYER CHALLENGE:

The purpose of this challenge is to build the habit of prayer during Lent by praying for family members and uniting these prayers with others throughout the Archdiocese. By signing up for the challenge, participants will receive a daily reminder with a prayer prompt to pray for their spouse, children, and/or parents. The prayer for each day of the week has a different theme.
