The formation of a Christian disciple is never complete. Our relationship with the Lord can always be strengthened through our participation in the sacraments, prayer, reflection, spiritual reading, and catechesis. All of these spiritual endeavors help to cultivate a deeper relationship with the Lord so that we can discern His voice in our hearts, find His presence in our daily lives, and love Him more tenderly. While catechesis at every stage of faith development is important, the U.S. Catholic Bishops point out that adult faith formation is to be “the central task in [this] catechetical enterprise.” It is for this reason that Guardian Angels Parish offers different adult faith formation opportunities to assist parishioners in deepening their relationship with God.
