Bible Study

The great scripture scholar St. Jerome was quoted as saying, “Ignorance of scripture is ignorance of Christ.” Inspired by the words of this saintly scholar, Guardian Angels offers Bible study classes both in the Fall and Winter. The Bible study classes, which are conducted by Deacon Bob, meet in the multi-purpose room on Monday evenings beginning at 7pm and concluding at 9pm.   There is a $15.00 registration fee to cover the cost of materials.

The Importance of the Sacred Scriptures

“My son, to my words be attentive, to my sayings incline your ear.”
Proverbs 4:20

“When I found your words, I devoured them; they became my joy and the happiness of my heart, because I bore your name, O Lord, God of Hosts.”
Jeremiah 15:16

“And for this reason we too give thanks to God unceasingly, that, in receiving the word of God from hearing us, you received not a human word but, as it truly is, the word of God, which is now at work in you who believe.”
1 Thessalonians 2:13

“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that one who belongs to God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”
2 Timothy 3:16-17
