Anointing of the Sick

The Anointing of the Sick will take place after the 4:30pm Mass on September 21st and after both Masses on September 22nd.

The sacrament of anointing is for all those who are seriously ill,
have a chronic illness or medical condition, are facing upcoming
surgery, or who are burdened with age. Anointing of the sick is
for the living, not the dying, and that is why we do not have “last
rites,” but the church blesses us with the anointing when facing
sickness. This powerful sacrament includes the grace of the
forgiveness of sin. It is not necessary for children who are under
the age of 7 who are ill to receive the sacrament of the sick,
however, we will pray over and for them.
If you or someone you know would like to receive the sacrament
after Mass please come join us and if you would like to come
and prayer for those who are sick please join us.
