Teaching Tuesdays

New This Fall: Teaching Tuesdays

Do you have questions about how the Catholic faith?

Are you interested in exploring the possibility of joining the Catholic church?

BOTH groups will now be served with a new event at Guardian Angels: Teaching Tuesdays.

Beginning September 17th, Teaching Tuesdays will take place each week from 7:00-8:00PM in the Fr. Solanus Room, and will feature a presentation on a particular teaching about the Catholic faith. Topics for the upcoming week will be announced each Sunday in the bulletin. Each Teaching Tuesday hour will include a basic explanation and history of a Church teaching, as well as its relevance for the modern disciple. Time for Q & A will be offered at the end of each session.   Teaching Tuesday sessions will be led by Steve Petty, Pastoral Associate at GA and Theology teacher at Bishop Foley Catholic High School.

Teaching Tuesdays involve no sign up, no meal, no materials, and no commitment (you can come to as many or as few topics as you’d like).  Just bring yourself and your questions or curiosities about the Catholic faith. While some people will be attending as members of the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) – the process of becoming Catholic, others will just be stopping in for an hour to hear more about a particular teaching that has always interested them.

Feel free to call Steve at 248-588-1222, ext.129 in the Parish Office with any questions.  Hope to see you on an upcoming Tuesday!
